This article is dedicated to the study of the formation and development of the foreign policy strategy of India (Republic of India). It primarily analyzes the key factors shaping its international relations, taking into account the historical, economic, and political context of India. The article highlights changes in India’s foreign policy since gaining independence, its position in the global community, strategic partnerships, and strengthened diplomatic ties. It also examines India’s security policy, foreign policy initiatives at both regional and global levels, and how the country’s geopolitical situation has evolved. Furthermore, the article discusses the new approaches of India’s foreign policy that meet modern requirements and its significance in shaping the country’s role in the global socio-political system. The main aim of this paper is to study the factors that shape India’s foreign policy strategy and assess its importance in world politics.
