Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the situation of the population in Uzbek kishlaks during the early years of Soviet rule. In the initial years of Soviet power, its influence in these regions was extremely weak, as many peasants did not understand the essence of the new political changes. This lack of understanding contributed to the preservation of old traditions and customs, which remained deeply ingrained in the consciousness of the local population. As a result, despite attempts to implement new social and economic transformations, many peasants continued to follow traditional farming methods and adhered to their religious and cultural practices. This adherence complicated the process of collectivization and hindered the introduction of Soviet ideas in the region.
