This article explores the concept of digital skills, their meaning, and essence. It also suggests that the development of digital technologies can be regarded as a progressive step toward improving the quality of education, despite concerns that digitization might limit the creative thinking of educators and students. The concept of digital education, which has become an integral part of everyday life through digitization processes, is examined. One of the fundamental requirements of digital education - ensuring that learners acquire digital literacy - is also analyzed.
