The article uses primary sources and materials from scientific literature to reveal the history of state and religious relations in the Uzbek SSR in the first years of World War II. It studies the fact that the Soviet state was drawn into the Second World War and began a period of severe trials and tribulations for all its participants, including the Uzbek people.
