Corruption continues to be one of the main threats to the modern world. Corruption is increasingly becoming transnational in nature, and therefore the fight against it requires cooperation at different levels: interstate, regional and global. The article discusses the prospects for further expansion of sectoral cooperation in the field of combating corruption within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States through the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Interstate Council for Combating Corruption. The author draws attention to the importance of the anti-corruption model legislation, the role of the ICCC in coordinating anti-corruption efforts.
