The most effective way to anticipate and mitigate the consequences of problematic social phenomena is by eliminating their underlying causes and conditions, as well as by developing and implementing targeted strategies. In this regard, combating youth offenses and crime plays a pivotal role as a methodological cornerstone of prevention one that must be considered inextricably linked to a society’s economic, social, and political development.
