This article analyzes the military campaign of Nasr ibn Sayyar ibn Rafi' ibn Harri ibn Rabi'ah al-Kinani al-Laysi a renowned Arab military commander, prominent statesman, and head of the Mudar tribe in Khorasan who took part in Qutayba ibn Muslim’s expeditions in Transoxiana, including the Fergana Valley. It also examines the subsequent political developments that followed these campaigns.
