Public administration in the field of intellectual property is complex, and several government agencies play a role in its implementation. This article, based on the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, examines the tasks and responsibilities of state bodies and agencies with authority in the intellectual property field. The state policy on intellectual property in Uzbekistan has been analyzed through a general overview of four stages. This article also explores important aspects and principles of the state policy, such as the protection of intellectual property rights, territoriality, cooperation between departments, transparency of government agencies, and balancing the interests of rights holders and third parties. Additionally, the article analyzes the actions of republican and supreme state authorities, including the Oliy Majlis (Parliament), the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the judicial system. In particular, the roles and responsibilities of the relevant authorities and the boundaries of their activities are outlined. It is noted that the management of intellectual property matters is a complex process.
