Annotatsiya

For the first time under conditions of 4π-geometry, experimental data have been obtained on one mechanism of the cumulative proton′s formation in oxygen nuclei interactions in a hydrogen chamber at high energies. An irregularity in the spectrum of the proton′s kinetic energy in region 70−90 MeV is detected which is due to the absorption of slow pions by quasi-deuteron pair nucleons. The contribution of this mechanism to the formation of cumulative protons is (20.2±1.4)%.
