The results of investigation of the adsorption and surface ionization (SI) of imipramine and amitriptyline molecules on oxidized tungsten in stationary and non-stationary conditions are presented. High-vacuum mass-spectrometric apparatus with a "black" chamber was used; all of whose walls could be cooled with liquid nitrogen. The compositions and structures of the most efficiently ionizing dissociation products of the initial molecules, consistent with the rules for the formation of SI of nitrogenous bases, are revealed. The SI β coefficient and the kinetic characteristics of the thermal desorption: constants of the desorption rate K+ , K0 , and the chemical transformation Kdi , the activation energy of desorption of the ions E+ , neutral E0 and Edi were determined for the first time by the voltage modulation method. The obtained β and the values of the kinetic characteristics of the thermal desorption are consistent with the previous results, corresponding to the concepts of SI as a thermally equilibrium desorption of ions.
