Central Asia is highly vulnerable to climate change due to its fragile arid and semi-arid ecosystems, rapid glacier retreat, and dependence on transboundary water resources. This study systematically analyzes climatic changes from 1970 to 2010 and future projections, assessing their socioeconomic, political, ecological, and spiritual impacts on regional societies. Drawing on comparative international experience in arid and semi-arid regions, the article proposes political mechanisms and institutional frameworks for improving resource allocation, ensuring environmental security, and promoting sustainable cooperation among Central Asian states.
