Philosophical and legal foundations of preparing convicts for release and their social reintegration

Annotatsiya

The article analyzes the philosophical and legal foundations of the process of preparing persons serving sentences in penitentiaryinstitutions for release and their subsequent reintegration into society. The author examines the legal status of a convicted personand his relationship to freedom and natural rights from the standpoint of philosophical anthropology. Based on available scientificsources, the study explores the concept of «anthropopenology», the «principle of normality», and questions of personal self-cognition under conditions of freedom. The author demonstrates how the system of informal relations within a penitentiaryinstitution affects personal identity. A comparative analysis of national and foreign legal experience is also carried out. The articleconcludes with philosophically grounded recommendations for improving the system of preparation for release.
