Improving the pedagogical expertise of weightlifting coaches: problem analysis and approaches to enhancement

Annotatsiya

This article presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of challenges in improving the pedagogical expertise of weightlifting coaches. The study draws on Uzbekistan’s legal framework and an analysis of international research. Five areas are examined: professional competencies, communication and psychological preparation, motor-skill instruction, training-load management and continuing professional development. Evidence-informed methodological recommendations are synthesized, and a conceptual model addressing theoretical, methodological, communication, organizational and innovative competencies is proposed. The model has not been empirically evaluated in this study.
