Annotatsiya

The article examines the structural design of the traditional Karakalpak yurt and the technology of its construction. It describes the specialization of yurt-making craftsmen (uychi), their tools and materials, the main wooden structural components, felt coverings, woven decorative elements, as well as traditions of interior space organization and the transmission of craft skills from generation to generation.
