This article examines the history of theatrical art in Turkestan from the early twentieth century to 1939, highlighting its stages of development and artistic connections. It explores the contributions of Behbudi and other Jadids to the development of theater, the organization of touring performances, and the emergence and development of opera and ballet theaters in Turkestan.
