This article assesses, on the basis of practical and scientific monitoring, the year-by-year expansion of the epizootological and epidemiological ranges of highly dangerous bacterial and viral infectious diseases. Using Rattus norvegicus as an example, the article shows that these findings are confirmed by the analysis of scientific publications, observations, conducted experiments, and obtained research results.
