It was established that in Central section of the Kyzylkum in the period from 1991 to 2021 5 peaks of a number of main carriers of plague microbe was noted, the phenomenon of degradation of a number of the main carrier was revealed with a decrease in a number of ectoparasites in places of direct settlements of great gerbil. The influence of global predictors on the abundance of rodents and their ectoparasites was assessed. The overwhelming majority of plague cultures in Central section of the Kyzylkum were isolated from the great gerbil. The Central Kyzylkum area belongs to an area with an average prognostic potential for plague epizootics. It was found that the amount of costs for localization and elimination of plague outbreak with the identification of 1 plague patient is 2.8 times more than, in comparison with the data for 2020, the amount of costs for the maintenance of city anti-plague station itself Uchkuduk. Constant monitoring of the state of epizootic activity of the Central Kyzylkum territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is required through a detailed epizootological examination of entire area of the outbreak.
