The article evaluates the significance of clinical and biochemical parameters in the development of gallstone disease in patients with obesity. The study included patients with obesity and gallstone disease who underwent clinical examinations, assessment of anthropometric parameters, biochemical blood tests, and instrumental examinations. It was found that an increase in body mass index is associated with a higher risk of disease development. It was also noted that metabolic disorders contribute to increased bile lithogenicity.
