The authors report that multiple hepatic echinococcosis remains one of the most challenging forms ofparasitic involvement of the hepatobiliary system, characterized by multifocal lesions, a high complication rate, and variability in surgical management. In the context of persistent endemicity in Central Asia, including the Republic of Uzbekistan, early diagnosis, pathogenetically justified surgical decision-making, and recurrence prevention are of particular importance.
