The aim of the study was to analyze modern rehabilitation strategies for knee joint contracture after total knee arthroplasty and to assess their clinical effectiveness. The paper summarizes data from domestic and international studies addressing the causes of postoperative contracture formation, as well as methods of its prevention and correction. The principles of early mobilization, therapeutic exercise, mechanotherapy, physiotherapy modalities, and a multimodal rehabilitation approach are considered. Particular attention is paid to the individualization of rehabilitation programs based on the patient’s functional status. It was established that early initiation of rehabilitation measures reduces the risk of persistent contracture and the need for repeated interventions. The findings confirm the necessity of a multidisciplinary approach in the management of patients after arthroplasty.
