The article presents the results of the development and creation of a new pilot-industrial installation in the form of an inclined rotary kiln for processing fluoroammonium siliconcontaining materials. It is shown that the use of a plant for the processing of copper-smelting slags of the Almalyk MMC makes it possible to separate silicon dioxide in the form of dispersed powders from slags, extract iron and obtain a collective concentrate of precious, nonferrous and other metals. The results of studies of particle size distribution, IR spectra and textural characteristics of amorphous silicon dioxide synthesized on the created installation are presented.
