This article analyzes the role of the principles of “the rule of law” and “the inviolability of human honor and dignity” in the activities of internal affairs bodies within the framework of ongoing legal reforms in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also examines the legal foundations, practical manifestations, and future priorities of a new people-oriented, open, and humane approach that has emerged in recent years within the internal affairs system.
