This article analyzes the constitutional and legal nature of freedom of entrepreneurship, the guarantees enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and mechanisms of state support for entrepreneurial activity. The relationship between freedom of entrepreneurship and property rights, freedom of economic activity, competition, and the right to judicial protection is identified. Trends in the development of Uzbekistan’s legislation are comparatively analyzed in light of the experience of foreign jurisdictions, particularly the United States, Germany, and the European Union. The study identifies the balance between the state’s regulatory powers and private economic interests as an important legal principle for ensuring freedom of entrepreneurship. It also substantiates the need to prevent unjustified interference in entrepreneurial activity, strengthen the inviolability of property, and enhance the legal protection of entrepreneurs. Drawing on international experience, the article develops scholarly and practical proposals for further improving Uzbekistan’s constitutional and legislative framework.
