This article examines the processes of transformation occurring in national self-awareness under globalization and the role of public relations (PR) communications in these processes. It analyzes the impact of globalization on national and cultural identity, including its positive and negative aspects, as well as the role of PR tools in preserving and developing national self-awareness. Threats to the stability of national identity arising from the spread of mass culture and the expansion of the digital information environment are considered, along with ways to address them. Based on the analysis, the strategic potential of PR communications in addressing identity-related challenges is identified, and practical recommendations are developed.
