This article provides a comparative and typological analysis of the semantic and linguocultural features of paremiological units with zoomorphic and phytomorphic components in the paremiological systems of German and Uzbek. The study determines the extent to which the animal and plant worlds are represented in the linguistic worldviews of both peoples, as well as their figurative meanings and functions as cultural codes. The analysis reveals cross-linguistic universal and national-cultural aspects of human relations, social norms, and worldview models. The distinctive features of both languages are illustrated with examples.
