This study examines the linguo-cultural features of English and Uzbek proverbs in internet discourse. The research aims to identify similarities and differences in the semantic, cultural, and pragmatic characteristics of proverbs and to explore their functioning in contemporary digital communication. The study is based on a qualitative and comparative analysis of proverb examples collected from various online platforms, including Reddit, YouTube, Facebook, Telegram, and Instagram.The findings reveal that both English and Uzbek proverbs continue to serve as important carriers of cultural values, collective wisdom, and social norms in digital environments. The analysis demonstrates the existence of universal themes such as diligence, responsibility, honesty, justice, and family relationships, while also highlighting culture-specific features reflected in metaphorical imagery and linguistic expression. Furthermore, the study shows that internet discourse facilitates the adaptation, reinterpretation, and transformation of traditional proverbs. In online communication, proverbs are frequently employed not only as sources of wisdom but also as tools of humor, irony, evaluation, and social commentary.The results indicate that despite the influence of globalization and digitalization, proverbs retain their cultural significance and continue to function as effective communicative resources. The study contributes to the fields of linguo-culturology, paremiology, discourse analysis, and digital communication studies by demonstrating the dynamic interaction between traditional linguistic heritage and modern internet discourse.
