This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of evaluating students' independent learning through artificial intelligence technologies. Particular attention is given to the challenges of applying automated assessment systems for independent study within the context of the Russian language discipline. The article explores ways to enhance the quality of independent learning through adaptive assessment, real-time feedback, and the creation of personalized learning trajectories. Furthermore, it analyzes the advantages and limitations of the assessment process when using artificial intelligence. A comprehensive approach is proposed for the effective evaluation of independent learning in the modern education system.
