This article examines the lexical-semantic and pragmalinguistic features of digital communication units in Uzbek and Russian on the basis of social media and messenger discourse. The study analyzes the communicative functions of abbreviations, emoticons, stickers, internet slang, and multimodal units used in online interaction. Particular attention is paid to the formation of pragmatic meaning, communicative intention, and contextual interpretation in digital discourse. The findings demonstrate that digital communication significantly influences the contemporary development of language and transforms traditional communicative norms.
