The article examines the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) tools on the educational process, particularly in English language teaching through the brainstorming method. It was found that AI simplifies the academic activities of teachers and students, making tasks faster and more efficient. However, excessive use of these technologies reduces students’ ability to think critically, conduct independent research, and apply creative reasoning. The study established that combining brainstorming with AI technologies enhances learning efficiency and deepens cognitive engagement. An experiment conducted with two student groups demonstrated that teacher guidance remains crucial for achieving balanced learning outcomes. The findings indicate that the appropriate integration of AI fosters a culture of scientific inquiry and analytical thinking among students. Therefore, brainstorming does not lose its relevance in the AI era but rather transforms into an intellectual partnership that strengthens the learning process.
