This article analyzes the artistic and documentary interpretation of Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s The Gulag Archipelago and Shukrulla’s Kafansiz Komilganlar. Both works are monumental texts reflecting the repressive system of the Soviet totalitarian regime—one of the most horrific tragedies of the 20th century [1][2]. The article conducts a comparative analysis of the genre characteristics, compositional solutions, language, and style of these works. It also examines the similarities and differences in the personal experiences of both authors, their approach based on documentary evidence, and their means of artistic expression. The historical, ethical, and psychological significance of these works, as well as their impact on the modern reader, is discussed [3][4].
