The article substantiatesa new approach to the classification of synthetic drugs used in the prophlaxy and treatment of iron deficiency anemia according to the Commodity Nomenclature of External Economic Activity, taking into account their chemical composition and features of pharmacological action. It is proposed to divide these drugs into ionic, chelating, hydroxide-polycarbohydrate complex and organoelement iron-containing compounds. New product codes have been developed for these groups of drugs. For each of these groups of drugs, corresponding new product codes have been developed.
