This article examines the associative field of the "tradition" concept within a linguocultural framework. The study aims to identify and systematize the lexical, cultural, value-based, and emotional associations that form in the minds of native speakers when perceiving this concept. The paper also considers cross-cultural differences in the interpretation of traditions and emphasizes their significance in shaping national identity and preserving collective memory. The presented materials highlight the role of associative connections in reflecting mental structures and reconstructing the linguistic worldview.
