The article analyzes the main factors influencing the spread and popularization of slang in society. It examines the role of literary figures, political leaders, and sports discourse in the development of slang. Examples from Shakespeare’s works, U.S. presidential speeches, and sports terminology illustrate how slang can gradually become part of the standard language.
