This article explores the semantic features of emojis in English and Uzbek digital discourse, with particular attention to national stereotypes, value systems, and social hierarchy. Adopting a comparative perspective, the study employs descriptive, comparative, linguocultural, and pragmatic methods of analysis. The findings demonstrate that while emojis exhibit denotative universality across languages, their connotative meanings and pragmatic interpretations are culturally localized and vary depending on the type of discourse. The study highlights how emoji usage reflects culturally specific norms and communicative strategies in English and Uzbek digital communication.
