This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-pragmatic functions of the Uzbek phraseological system within the framework of speech etiquette. The relevance of the study stems from the fact that linguistic units are regarded not merely as tools for information transmission, but as key factors in regulating social relations and managing communicative situations. The pragmatic potential of phraseological units is examined through contextual analysis and descriptive methods. The author elaborates on the euphemistic and polycentric characteristics of idioms in discourse, providing a scholarly basis for understanding their role in enhancing communicative culture and mitigating conflict situations.
