Cinema is an important cultural phenomenon in modern society, providing an effective cultural dialogue among nations, cultures, and languages. It plays a significant role in reflecting social processes, shaping collective consciousness, and developing aesthetic perspectives. This article analyzes the main theoretical problems that have emerged throughout the history of cinematography, their evolution, and the theoretical approaches proposed in different periods. Using comparative and analytical methods, the study highlights the conceptual foundations of film theories, methodological differences, and their impact on processes of cultural identification. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of the role and significance of cinema in the global cultural space.
