This article analyzes the system of symbolic images in Ulugbek Hamdam’s novel Ota and their role in revealing the author’s poetic mastery. Special attention is given to the image of the father as a central symbol that embodies moral, spiritual, and psychological meanings. The study also examines symbolic space, oppositional semantic layers, and the function of subtext in the novel. The results demonstrate that the system of symbolic images serves as a key poetic mechanism in shaping the novel’s multilayered artistic meaning.
