This article examines the media competence of information program anchors as a key professional characteristic of modern journalism. Media competence is analyzed as an integrated system that combines journalistic skills, speech culture, analytical thinking, visual communication, and the effective use of digital technologies. In the context of the digital transformation of the media environment, information program anchors are no longer limited to delivering news but act as influential agents shaping public opinion and audience trust. The study explores the impact of modern technologies, interactive formats, and digital tools on the professional activities of anchors. The findings demonstrate that a high level of media competence plays a decisive role in enhancing the quality of information programs and their social influence.
