The theme of the Motherland was one of the most widely explored themes among poets of the twentieth century. The poetry of Asqad Mukhtar has not yet been studied in sufficient depth with regard to this theme; in particular, the theme of the Motherland in his works requires a separate and focused analysis. This article examines the poet’s approach to the theme of the Motherland through a comparative analysis with its treatment in the poetry of his contemporaries.
