This article highlights the main causes of air pollution in Tashkent today and emphasizes that the problem leads not only to environmental consequences but also to a negative impact on the lifestyle of the population and the emergence of other social problems. The article presents the root causes of the problem, its consequences that require solutions, and several measures that may bring at least some benefit in the short term. It describes the process of social stratification arising in society as a result of air pollution, its negative impact on public health, and the additional burden it places on family budgets. The article also notes that air pollution currently contributes to a decline in the social activity of Tashkent residents, as well as changes in their lifestyle and social habits.
