Annotatsiya

This article provides a scientific and pedagogical analysis of the pedagogical essence of transformative learning and its potential for developing students’ research competence. The conceptual foundations of transformative learning are revealed, along with its close relationship with student-centered, reflective, and competency-based approaches. In addition, based on foreign and national scientific sources, the article systematically examines the content of research competence, its structural components, and the pedagogical factors that contribute to its development. The author proposes a conceptual model for developing research competence on the basis of transformative learning and substantiates the practical significance of this model in the higher education process.
