This article explores the theoretical, practical, and pedagogical frameworks of biodiversity preservation and the implementation of "green" development principles within the Republic of Uzbekistan. Amid accelerating global climate change and regional ecological challenges—particularly the Aral Sea environmental crisis—the conservation of gene pools of flora and fauna has become a strategic priority. The study examines the biological state of Uzbekistan’s ecosystems, evaluating floristic and faunistic species diversity, endemic species vulnerability, and the impacts of anthropogenic pressure on natural habitats. Special attention is paid to integrating green economy principles into ecological practice, including ecosystem service restoration through phytomelioration, the use of biotechnological tools over chemical inputs in agriculture, and urban carbon-sequestration strategies. Furthermore, the article synthesizes biology with modern pedagogical methodologies, demonstrating how STEM frameworks, Project-Based Learning (PBL), and visual-interactive technologies enhance ecological literacy and research competence among biology students. Practical recommendations are formulated for developing digital bio-monitoring systems and modernizing higher biology education curricula to align with national sustainable development goals.
