This article examines the influence of national values on the formation of political consciousness among youth in Uzbekistan in the context of building civil society, strengthening the rule of law, and implementing the “New Uzbekistan” development concept. The study explores theoretical and methodological approaches to the concepts of “national values” and “political consciousness” and analyzes their interrelationship in the works of foreign, Russian, and Uzbek scholars. Particular attention is paid to the evolution of scholarly views on national values as a structural component of political culture and to their role in the political socialization of the younger generation. Based on systemic, cultural-historical, civilizational, institutional, and historical-political approaches, the article reveals the mechanisms through which national values shape young people’s political attitudes, civic responsibility, and political behavior. The study identifies communalism, the institution of the mahalla, respect for elders, tolerance and interethnic harmony, diligence, social responsibility, and the sacralization of stability and public order as the principal value orientations influencing the political consciousness of the younger generation.
