The article examines the protection of housing property rights through the institutions of civil law. It analyzes the relationship between general and special legal remedies for the protection of housing rights, judicial practice, and issues related to claims for recognition of rights and challenges to non-regulatory acts. Particular attention is paid to improving legal mechanisms for protecting housing rights, developing the escrow account system in shared construction projects, and enhancing the effectiveness of housing legislation in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
