This article provides a systematic analysis of the pedagogical and psychological factors that influence the development of imagination in 6–7-year-old children during the process of learning a second language. The study highlights the age-related and individual characteristics of imagination development in preschool children, the psychological mechanisms of second language acquisition, and the interrelationship between this process and modern pedagogical technologies. In addition, the role of the educational environment, play-based activities, visual teaching aids, mind maps, communicative exercises, and motivation in developing children’s imagination is analyzed on the basis of scientific sources. As a result of the study, the pedagogical and psychological factors involved in developing imagination through second language learning in 6–7-year-old children are characterized as an interconnected and integrated system. This approach can serve as a scientific and methodological basis for improving second language teaching methods in preschool educational institutions and for supporting children’s cognitive and creative development.
