This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the labor-law status of persons with disabilities and the mechanisms for ensuring their labor rights. The study examines the evolution of the concept of disability from the traditional medical model to the social and human rights-based model and explores its impact on labor law. Particular attention is paid to the legal capacity of persons with disabilities in labor relations, the principle of differentiation, the institution of reasonable accommodation, and the quota system, all of which are analyzed from a scientific and legal perspective. The article also presents a comparative legal analysis of the current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in relation to international labor standards and the legal frameworks of Germany, the United States, and the Russian Federation. The findings reveal a number of challenges in ensuring the labor rights of persons with disabilities, including the limited effectiveness of the employment quota system, the persistence of discrimination, and the inadequacy of existing institutional mechanisms. Based on the research findings, the author proposes a set of scientific and practical recommendations aimed at improving the protection of the labor rights of persons with disabilities. In particular, the study substantiates the need to harmonize national legislation with international standards, expand economic incentive mechanisms for employers, and strengthen cooperation among the state, civil society, and the private sector in promoting inclusive employment.
