This article highlights issues related to improving the legal framework and practice of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of land legislation. In the course of the study, a comparative legal analysis of the advanced experience of developed foreign countries, including developed European and CIS countries, in this field was conducted. Particular attention is paid to the role of prosecutorial authorities in preventing the illegal seizure and misappropriation of land plots, while ensuring the rational use of land resources and environmental safety. Based on the analysis, well-founded proposals and recommendations have been developed for incorporating positive foreign experience into the national legislation and practice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
