This article analyzes the legal, economic, and ecological foundations for the rational and efficient use of the land fund in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It examines theoretical concepts of land resource management, as well as systemic problems encountered in practice and possible solutions to them. Furthermore, the article provides practical recommendations on the categorization of the land fund, land protection, the integration of digital technologies, including GIS, into the sector, and the improvement of land legislation.
