This article explores in detail the conceptual issues and practical solutions related to designing integrated curricula against the background of fundamental reforms currently taking place in the education sector. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the traditional isolated teaching of subjects weakens students’ ability to draw general conclusions and apply knowledge in real-life situations. The article analyzes the methodological foundations of creating integrated curricula, including interdisciplinary connections, logical consistency of content, and a competency-based approach. The author demonstrates the advantages of applying the principles of vertical and horizontal integration in curriculum design. Furthermore, the article highlights ways to optimize academic workload by combining similar topics rather than artificially expanding educational content. The study also determines the role of modern pedagogical technologies, particularly problem-based learning and project-based learning, in integrated programs. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that the recommendations provided can assist teachers and methodologists in revising curricula in accordance with modern requirements, while also contributing to the development of students’ independent thinking and analytical skills. The final conclusions show that an integrated approach is one of the most effective means not only of transmitting knowledge but also of holistically enhancing an individual’s intellectual potential.
