This article analyzes the constitutional and legal status of the individual in the context of digitalization, as well as the protection of human rights in the digital environment. In modern conditions, the expansion of electronic public services, personal data databases, digital identification, online platforms, and automated decision-making systems requires a new approach to ensuring human rights and freedoms. The main purpose of the study is to reveal the content of individual rights in the digital environment and to provide legal substantiation for relevant issues such as personal data protection, information security, equal access to electronic services, and human control over algorithmic decisions. The article applies normative legal, comparative legal, systematic analysis, and scientific generalization methods. The results of the study show that digital technologies, while expanding opportunities for the realization of human rights, also create new risks related to violations of privacy, digital inequality, unlawful processing of personal data, and insufficient transparency of algorithmic decisions. In conclusion, the article substantiates the need to improve national legislation, strengthen personal data protection, ensure equal access to electronic services, and develop a human rights-based system of digital governance.
